Chatfield Youth Wrestling Program

Chatfield Wrestling Club is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to provide and promote wrestling activities for boys and girls, Pre-K through High School for children within the Chatfield School District. 

Our mission is to promote excellence in wrestling and positively influence the lives of kids in the Chatfield community, by developing a commitment to wrestling through a fun and affordable team-oriented experience at practices and competitions, emphasizing sportsmanship, teamwork, skill building, physical conditioning, goal setting, a competitive spirit, hard work and a winning attitude.  Our goal is to help guide our athletes to become the best and prepare them to face all of life’s challenges.

Registration is now open for kid Pre-K (going into Kindergarten next fall)-6th grade. 
$30 for the first wrestler, $50 maximum family cap. See link below   
No wrestler will be turned away due to ability to pay, please contact the booster club.   

Practice begins November 20th and are held most Tuesdays and Thursdays:  Pre-K-2nd grade 6-7pm, 3rd-6th Grade 7-8:30pm  IN THE NEW WRESTLING ROOM!   

Not sure about joining?   Come to the "Bring a Buddy" practices: Tuesday November 13, 2018 6:30-7:45 p.m. and Thursday, November 15, 2018, 6:30-7:45 p.m. and give it a try.   These are no charge practices to see what we are all about.  Parents can ask questions to booster club members and other parents to get a feel of how a season works.  

NEW this year: 
Competitive Wrestling and Strength Training,  $25 per person, no cap
Mondays starting November 19th, 5pm-6pm 
Headgear, shoes, and a water bottle are required. 
To be held in the NEW wrestling room at the high school

The competitive wrestling and strength training session is for the competitive wrestler who is looking for a competitive live wrestling experience and dedicated time for strength training in addition to the regular Tuesday and Thursday sessions.  The program is for wrestlers grades 3-6.  However, if space is available, experienced wrestlers younger than 3rd grade may be allowed to register under this session.  Competitive wrestlers should have a strong base of experience and are ready for more intense training session.  Practice will consist of 30 minutes of live wrestling and 30 minutes of structured strength training.
